GhostLedger

Payment Recovery Coordination
📖 What GhostLedger Does

GhostLedger helps people recover money that was owed to them but never paid. When a platform, employer, or company withholds funds you earned, GhostLedger coordinates the recovery process by organizing your claim, communicating with the respondent, and connecting you with appropriate resources.

We are not a law firm, government agency, or debt collector. We are a coordination service that brings structure, documentation, and persistence to your payment dispute.

⚙️ How the Process Works
1

You Submit a Claim

Fill out a short form describing who owes you, how much, and what happened. We ask for basic details like the company name, amount, and any steps you've already taken.

Your information is stored securely and used only for your claim. We do not share it without your authorization.
2

Your Claim Is Classified

Our system reviews your claim to understand the type of dispute, the amount involved, and the best initial approach. This helps us prioritize and route your case appropriately.

Classification considers: claim size, dispute type, whether you've contacted support, and known patterns from similar cases.
3

We Communicate with the Respondent

GhostLedger prepares and sends professional, factual correspondence to the company or platform that owes you. These letters request information, follow up on prior contact, and reference applicable consumer protection frameworks when relevant.

All communications are informational. We never threaten legal action, impersonate authorities, or use coercive language.
4

Your Case Is Monitored

We track the status of your claim through multiple follow-up stages. If the respondent does not reply, we escalate the level of correspondence. If patterns emerge showing the same company affecting multiple people, we flag that for review.

You can check your case status anytime through the Claimant Portal using the email you filed with.
5

Resolution or Referral

Many cases are resolved through direct coordination. If your case requires legal expertise, we can connect you with an independent attorney through the ILF (Independent Legal Fellowship) network. The attorney decides independently whether to take the case.

Referral to a lawyer is an introduction, not representation. Any legal relationship is between you and the attorney.
What We Do

Organize and document your payment dispute in a structured format.

Send professional, factual inquiries to the company that owes you.

Track your case through multiple follow-up stages with increasing formality.

Detect patterns when many people report the same company, which may inform our approach.

Connect you with independent legal professionals if your case warrants it.

Provide you with a transparent view of your case status at any time.

What We Do Not Do

We do not provide legal advice or legal representation.

We do not threaten companies with lawsuits, government complaints, or regulatory action.

We do not file complaints with government agencies on your behalf.

We do not impersonate attorneys, regulators, or law enforcement.

We do not guarantee any outcome or recovery amount.

We do not share your information with third parties without your explicit authorization.

🔒 Your Data and Privacy

How We Handle Your Information

Your claim data is stored securely and used exclusively for processing your dispute. We collect only what is necessary: your contact information, the details of your claim, and any documentation you provide.

We do not sell your data, use it for marketing, or share it outside the scope of your case. If your claim is referred to a legal professional, we share only the relevant case details and only with your authorization.

Every action taken on your case is logged in an immutable audit trail for transparency and compliance.

📊 How Pattern Detection Works

What Signals Are

When multiple people file claims against the same company, our system detects these patterns — we call them signals. Signals help us understand which companies are generating the most disputes and what kinds of issues are most common.

Signals reflect statistical patterns in our claims data. They do not indicate wrongdoing, liability, or fault on the part of any company. They inform our review process — they do not trigger any automated actions against anyone.

Signals older than 90 days are automatically downgraded to prevent stale data from inflating patterns. This ensures our assessments reflect current conditions, not historical accumulation.

⚖️ The Independent Legal Fellowship (ILF)

How Legal Referrals Work

Some cases benefit from professional legal review. The ILF is a network of independent attorneys who have volunteered to receive referrals from GhostLedger.

When we refer your case, we share relevant details with a lawyer who may be able to help. The lawyer reviews the case independently and decides whether to offer their services. If they do, any legal relationship is directly between you and the attorney.

GhostLedger does not select, endorse, or guarantee any lawyer. We do not receive fees from attorneys for referrals. The ILF is a coordination mechanism, not a law firm.
